Newborn photography below. Prepare yourself. These images are bound to give you baby fever. I mean seriously! Look at him! This family was so sweet and patient. I couldn’t have been blessed with a better sleeper either. He was a calm baby. That baby blue color was made for him. A lot goes into a newborn session. I actually sewed the little blue outfit, bonnet, and sleepy cap in the wrapped portraits. If you’d like to sew your own, Kelly Brown has a great tutorial on her website. I also color matched the fabric he was laying on in those pictures to match his outfit in Photoshop.
Newborn Photography Session:
That’s for sure the sweetest thing you’ve seen today and we’re not even finished.
The tosies are a must. I love capturing how small they are compared to the parent’s hands. They don’t stay that little for long.
That’s what love looks like. Parents glow when you ask them to look at their baby.
Up next is the posing table. There are 2 distinct areas of newborn posing to choose from. Those are the posing table on fabric, and in props. I do love props, but I love the simplicity of baby on soft fabric as well. I let parents decide what is most important to them. To see a prop scroll down to the cute little wooden bed.
The outfit I sewed specifically for him. He is precious in any color I’m sure, but this blue is so sweet on him.

He had all kinds of expressions for us when he got his hands outs.
