Our trip to XFactor Trampoline Park, Mundelein, IL

Welcome back to the life side of my blog! I hope to continue capturing our adventures around our community and beyond to share here. These are not clients or client session. This is my family visiting XFactor Trampoline Park.

At my son’s recent Blue and Gold ceremony graduating from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts, there was a silent auction. My husband usually acquires a few neat things from the scouting silent auctions. Among the few things we brought home were passes to XFactor Trampoline park in Mundelein, Illinois. It’s spring break and he had to head that way anyway so he dropped the 3 kids and I off for a bit yesterday. It was the first time we visited this location. It compares to the other trampoline parks we’ve been to. Of course we already had trampoline park socks that I just keep in the car because how many pairs do we really need when you don’t go regularly? We also filled out their waiver online before arriving. So we just checked in, they printed off our sticker name tags, and we went off to bouncing.

At XFactor Trampoline Park

My oldest, T, gives most everything a try, she’s pretty much all over the place having fun. My middle son, A, rarely leaves dodgeball, although there was no actual game going on yesterday, just a free for all. I don’t know if they have games at this location. The youngest, E, takes almost the entire time we’re there to even begin jumping so he’s never ready to leave when it’s time. Before long, E crossed paths with a speedster tearing across the trampolines and at the very end A had a toddler bouncing around while he jumped blissfully unaware. They have pretty solid rules at these places about 1 person per trampoline for a very good reason. Heed that. Outside of those small and almost expected incidents with kids and many, many trampolines it’s good fun and exercise. A was pretty red at the end so I know he got a good workout in.

All in all it was a good time for everyone, with very few collisions. We do like these places and the kids are always excited to go. I’m always relieved to leave with everyone intact. Some parks have toddler time and I highly recommend checking that out as opposed to tossing a toddler in with bigger, faster kids.

I love that there’s now a way for everyone I work with to get to know my family a little better. It’s important to me that you’re comfortable with the person you’re hiring and the family you’re helping to support behind the business. Small local businesses are families.
