Hi! I’m Casi, an Illinois photographer. The studio is near Gavin South in Ingleside, basically right between the school and Wilson on Rout 134. I offer a variety of mini sessions, generally in my Ingleside studio, but on occasion they are outside. Have a look below and then reach out if you have any questions. How they work!

First book the session, then attend the session, and after they’re edited, select your pictures!

2-4 weeks (or less) after your session, you will receive a proofing gallery link via email with 10+ edited images to choose from. The retainer applies to your balance, whether you select the full proofing gallery of 10+ edited images or individuals from it.

Mini Session Q&A

Each mini session will specify a date for that theme. Availability is limited. Book in advance. Most themes may be booked for custom sessions at regular pricing if you miss one you like.

Reach out through the inquiry form, e-mail me at casi@casiannphotography.com, or call 815-621-7077. The contract and $50 retainer will be emailed to you after we’ve selected a time. Both must be completed to book. Session times remain available for booking until both are submitted.

Each mini session theme will have an explanation of age, size, or number of people. I do not photograph extended families, groups, or events unless otherwise specified. If a session is for “family” it means up to 2 parents and their immediate children. Only those listen in the contract will be photographed.

The more people trying to get children to smile, the more directions they’re looking. When someone is standing feet away from the camera getting their attention, they look and smile in that direction rather than at the camera. When more than one person is getting their attention, it gets more difficult for me to redirect their gaze at the camera. Also, some children and babies can become overstimulated with multiple people making noise at them, resulting in unhappy expressions.

Mini Session Q&A

Each mini session will specify a location. The studio is located at 25876 IL 134, Ingleside, IL. The studio is attached to my home, and the door is at the top of the driveway next to the garage door. During a custom session you would be able to pull right up to the studio door, but for a mini session please be aware when pulling in the driveway to not block in the client before you.

If you are already fully booked for a mini session I will personally contact you regarding any updates to that session. If you’re looking for updates on mini sessions they will be on this page with the mini session information, or on my Facebook page. Follow my Facebook page and sign up for emails for future offerings and updates.

I do offer a variety of mini sessions for the convenience of my clients, but some aren’t as popular as others. If it’s getting close to the mini session date and it isn’t booking, I may cancel them and fill the day with another session or family activities. Minis that are cancelled may be moved to another time, but holiday specific themes generally won’t come around again until the next year. Let me know if it’s one you’d like to see again. The only way to keep a mini session time available to you is to book it.

Book multiple mini sessions. Most mini session themes may also be booked as a custom session as well which are 30 minutes, 60 minutes, and 1-2 hours.
