6 Month Photoshoot Ingleside Illinois | Milestone Session | IL Photographer

A 6 month photoshoot – Ingleside, Illinois, at the studio. I was so excited to work with this little cutie. Her parents went with a very classic choice of white fur for her milestone session, as well as green with a basket. We used a couple new props and had a fun time with it. I’m not sure who’s more excited about it though, me or her parents, because these are adorable. Eek! Her parents did a great job getting some smiles out of her. At 6 months she is working on her balance and overall happy, curious, and wiggly. The baskets work great for that stage. Here she is in all her cuteness.

Depending on where you look you’ll see a variety of what milestone sessions are. To some people they mean 3, 6, and 9 months. To some they mean developmental milestones like smiling, sitting, standing, etc. If you’re planning just one session for baby between the newborn and 1 year session and want it at 6 months, we can work with that whether baby is sitting unassisted or not. That’s what props are for, like these cute little baskets. There is always laying baby down on their back or tummy as well for some really sweet portraits.
