3 Month Photography – Valentine Session with Family

I really enjoyed meeting this family recently. They came in for a 3 month photography session and Valentine pictures. This is such a fun age to photograph because that personality starts coming out. I love doing the close up personality portraits. They go through a series of expressions very quickly and it’s entertaining for all. We all obviously like the smiles but the grumpy ones get me every time. He really liked sticking his tongue out.

I would really love to know what he’s thinking about. I love that expression.

Valentine’s Day Theme

He’s so cute. Mom brought the hat and socks in to go with the valentine pictures. He looks super cozy to me.

I’m pretty sure he wanted to know what we were up to.

The faces! What is he thinking about??

You can feel the happiness in this one even though it’s not a huge smile.

That should melt your heart.

He was all about that tongue. Too funny.

I was a little too excited to get him into this knitted outfit above that I picked up before the session. And he looked so cute and comfortable.

He was so much fun to work with. I love this age and am always so glad when client’s come in at 3 months. While this isn’t a sitting, crawling, or walking milestone, it is usually a smiling and alert one, or whatever baby’s personality is. Sometimes it’s a grumpy face one. Even between the other expressions I usually strike gold with a good stink eye portrait.
