Milestone & Cake Smash
Hi! I’m Casi, a photographer located in Ingleside, IL. I photograph babies and families. Milestone sessions are to capture your baby at different stages of growth after their newborn session and until their one year sessions. One year is the end of the milestones and then we move into child sessions.
I do recommend booking sessions frequently in the first year, because they change so much. There are a few options for this. You can book monthly sessions to attempt to document all of their milestones. Or, after the newborn session aim for 3, 6, 9, and 12 months if you want to document a variety of different phases of that first year. Another great and popular option is for a sitter session between the newborn and one year session, which is done when baby is sitting up un-assisted, but not necessarily crawling away from us just yet. Alternatively, a half year (6 month session) can be done.
Milestone portraits are available in studio or on location. In studio sessions include props and a theme of choice. Book a Full or Deluxe session to include time for a cake smash during the 12 month session.
Include a cake smash or bath splash in your milestone session
There is no additional charge to include a cake smash or bath splash. They take approximately 20 minutes of the session time each. To include both book a Full or Deluxe session.
Family provides cake or smash food substitute.
The tub may be used in any session quickly without water. Request ahead. Water is only used for babies sitting independently.
