I was so glad to have this family back in for a newborn and family photography session. They were in the studio just weeks before for a family maternity session. It’s so much fun to capture maternity portraits and then have the same family back in with a brand new person. This little guy was adorable. He enjoyed being cozy in the swaddle, but he definitely protested newborn pictures outside of the swaddle. That happens often. I capture that as well. I’m pretty sure the one (5th down) of dad holding him is my favorite one. The expressions are real and priceless. And you’d never know it by looking at the ones swaddled up in the basket in white. He’s so cozy in those.
Isn’t that the sweetest? Sibling portraits with a newborn are always a win.
Booking:
It’s best to book your newborn session by the end of your second trimester for availability and planning. If you are not looking for a newborn and family photography session, we can do a newborn session without the family portion, and do additional newborn only setups. When booking your newborn session, select a date a week after your due date. We can adjust the session if you have your baby early or late. Also, newborns tend to be the less fussy in the morning. So if you can book for a weekday morning around 10 or 11, baby might be more settled than if you were to book in the evening.
